Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to give the students the basic knowledge of mechanics, which will be useful for more advanced studies. Particular attention is given to the mechanics of rigid bodies
Program
The scientific method. Cinematic of the point particle. Dynamics of the point particle. Examples of force. Galileian relativity. Non-inertial reference systems. Energy and work. Systems of particles. Conservation laws. Collisions. Cinematic and dynamics of rigid bodies. Scalar and vector fields- Gravitation. Cinematic and dynamics of fluids.
