Learning outcomes
The course studies the relationship between environmental resources and settlements, as well as techniques for the definition of the interventions and their management; exercises consist of projects and / or plans, or on a regional scale urban regeneration or the new settlement, with evaluation of the approaches to plans, project proposals and legislative decisions / spatial planning alternatives. The laboratory deals with design studies on the topic of technology in the relationship between urban settlements and environmental resources. The educational activities of the Laboratory is strictly functional to the practical application of the topics covered in the main course of Urban Planning and can properly coordinate with other disciplines as urban, environmental, compositional and infrastructure.

Program
The course introduces the student to the critical understanding of the characters and the complex structure of the territory, showing the different approaches to the governance of the territory and urban planning. The course is based on interdisciplinary lessons and working groupsfor finding integrated solutions for the development of spatial planning.

Development of the examination
Students activity will be tested in the examination of the teaching which is entrusted with the management of the laboratory.
