Learning outcomes
Training and technical knowledge for the interpretation of the projects, the identification of the systems and of the techniques to measure and optimize the management of urban, drinking and industrial water and wastewater treatment plants.
Program
Law analysis in force, in matters of: drinking waters, waters protection from pollution, waste and treatmement sludge with particular care to role state waters company;
Measure systems of operating parameters (mass and hydraulic load): on-line measure systems for macro and micro pollutants and process parameters. special test for process control (sour, aur, nur, etc);
Mass balances of hydraulics, carbon, solids , energy, nitroigen;
Control and management of drinking water treatment plants (membrane processes, ionic exchange, coagulation, filtration, sedimentation and disinfection);
March tables of the waste water treatment plant. Management data analysis for waste water treatment plant in full scale; calculation of the operating parameters of processes, calculation of the specific parameters for each operative units.
