Learning outcomes
Basic concepts on the environmental system (Geology, Physical geography Geomorphology, Hydrology, Hydrogeology and anthropic system). Basic concepts on natural hazards, vulnerability and risk mapping. Natural processes and catastrophic events (Landslides, flooding, water pollution and coastal erosion). Prevention, reduction and mitigation of natural hazards. Land use planning process and natural hazard risk.
Program
Basic concepts of Physical geography, Geomorphology and Applied Geomorphology. Processes, morphological forms and deposits. Catchment area and morphometry. Fluvial forms and processes. Geology, hydrogeology, landslides and slope stability. Coastal morphology and processes. The hydrogeological risk, prevention and mitigation.
