The course aims to deepen the understanding of the construction techniques of historic buildings and of the methods of intervention on the historic building heritage
Program
The materials and the traditional constructive techniques of the historical housebuilding: masonries in stone, in tile, mixed; attics and coverages with warping in wood, the wooden trusses, the times in masonry, turned with armour in wood, reed and chalk. Development of the examination
LEARNING EVALUATION METHODSThe assessment of student learning consists of:
- a written or oral test with the aim of estimating the knowledge of the topics discussed during the course;
- a series of short tutorials themes, in the form of drawings and/or technical reports, to be carried out in parallel with the lessons.
LEARNING EVALUATION CRITERIATo successfully pass the learning evaluation, the student must demonstrate, through a discussion on the topics of the course and the exercises carried out, to have understood the contents covered, and be able to apply them independently in the process of renovation of a building.
LEARNING MEASUREMENT CRITERIAFor each of the practical exercises conducted during the lessons is assigned a rating (excellent, good, fair, sufficient, insufficient). To gain access to the oral examination it is necessary that all the exercises have a sufficient rating. At the oral ex
FINAL MARK ALLOCATION CRITERIAThe student must demonstrate an adequate knowledge of the main topics discussed during the course and obtain a judgment at least sufficient in all the practical exercises to obtain a final evaluation at least sufficient.
The maximum score is reached when the student demonstrates a thorough understanding of all the course content and has achieved a rating at least fair on all the technical exercises.
Praise is given to students who demonstrate particular skills during the oral presentation and in the exercises.
